The following statement explains our policy regarding the personal information we collect about you.

This is allows us to provide a number of functions from replying to any e-mail's you may send to allowing you to personalise your visit to iwight.com using features such as 'My Profile'.
By giving us such details we aim to provide you with a better service, giving you the information you want to see and contacting you if you would like to know when new information is added to the site. The IW Council will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet current Internet best practice.
We also (anonymously) monitor visitors to the site so that amongst other things we can see which sections are being viewed, how long for and where the visitors came from all of which is invaluable information for us in terms of developing the site and monitoring our performance.

When you use part of iwight.com which requires you to register you are identified when you login using your username and password. Your details are held in a secure environment which is unavailable to the public.
If we need to anonymously identify you, such as for monitoring web site statistics we use a 'Cookie' to tell if you have visited the site before.
When you sign up to iwight.com there is also and option for you to be automatically recognised when you return to the site without having to login everytime. This again uses a 'Cookie'
